Kerri
Creative Leader
Kerri Kennedy, one of Hearts 4 Joy’s Creative Leaders, is a dynamic interdisciplinary artist specializing in visual, media and performance arts. In 2017, Kerri received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cultural Studies from Trent University where she specialized in Image Sound and Performance, with an Emphasis in Theatre Studies. Kerri’s work has been displayed at EC3 and Artspace’s joint show titled “New Visions/Old Land” for Canada’s 150th celebration. Kerri’s work has also been shown at Snowdance; Short Film Festival where it was awarded Best Experimental Film Award. In 2019 Kerri graduated from Trent’s School of Education with a focus in teaching the Arts to students from Grades 7 - 12. Along with the Arts, Kerri has developed and fostered a passion for special education, and has been privileged to work and teach people with exceptionalities. Kerri’s heart and passion is working with the Hearts 4 Joy Artists as a full-time Creative Leader. Kerri is so excited to see Hearts 4 Joy continue to grow and bring joy to our community!
