Mission:
The Hearts 4 Joy MISSION is to support and enrich the lives of individuals with Intellectual Exceptionalities in order to help them reach their fullest potential.
Vision:
Hearts 4 Joy is a NOT FOR PROFIT Organization with a vision to inspire individuals (21 years and older) to develop and enhance their artistic abilities through a positive work environment. Hearts 4 Joy is a Community where Artists can learn through skill training, team work and partnerships with local businesses through the sale of unique hand-made items.
Values:
Hearts 4 Joy is a caring and encouraging community. Promoting a caring community, focusing on safety, transparency, accountability, continually learning and collaborating.
Objectives:
• Promote the abilities and capabilities of the individuals with intellectual exceptionalities through work experience and skill building.
• Provide and create enriched, innovative, transferable work-related opportunities for Artists and assist the Artists’ development, self-esteem, confidence and increased independence.
• Support with the planning, designing and accomplishment of creative projects from start to finish with well-defined objectives and
• To inspire, develop and enhance each Artists’ personal skills, sense of worth and mental wellness that motivates each Artists’ potential for growth.
